While the holidays draw near, your schedule isn’t getting any simpler! Take a line from your New Year’s Resolutions and adopt a few of these habits into your daily routine for a revitalized you!!

  • Try 10-20 minutes of stretching in the morning!

  • Eat breakfast. You’ve been told many times before: it gets your metabolism going to give you energy for another day!

  • Take a brisk walk between classes or on your lunch break.

  • Snack throughout the day on things like fresh or dried fruit, granola bars, carrot sticks, trail mix, and pretzels.

  • Drink lots of water: It keeps you hydrated, and it can help keep you satiated! Sometimes when you think you’re hungry, you’re only thirsty.

  • Take a quick bike ride, swim, or walk at the end of the day. Or, try a new sport like tennis or golf! Get active and you’ll feel better.

  • Do your sit-ups & lunges while dinner is cooking. This can quench the craving for fatty foods and help you make healthier choices.
