and her The Price is Mr. Right Knowing when he should pay … and when you should walk
away!
It’s that awkward moment when the
waitress brings the check.
Should you break out your ATM card? Should you offer to pay, figuring
he’ll say “no”? Should you expectantly wait
for him to take care of it?
Well, there’s really no right answer. But, there ARE some
guidelines to help you know how to act on a date – and also
how he should treat you. There are too many lame guys out there
– and you don’t want to waste your time!
You deserve the utmost respect – and should be treated like
a princess.
So, for your next date … here are a few things to be watching
for:
Make sure he opens your door (no matter which door it
is – car, restaurant, etc). He should always let
you walk ahead of him.
If he asked you out, he should pay (and a really chivalrous
guy always pays).
When sitting down at a table, he should pull out your
chair for you.
If you get onto a train or bus and there’s only
one seat left, he should let you have it.
When walking down the street, he should always walk
on the outside.
When sitting down in a theater, concert or church, he
should let you go first down the row of seats.
And
if he doesn’t do these things … then it’s time
to walk away.
We know it’s been programmed into your head that women should
be independent and should take care of themselves. But …
that doesn’t diminish the fact that men should keep their
role as men. Let them take care of you and be the protectors that
they want to be! And in return, appreciate them for it (make sure
you say “thank you”)!!
The “grrls” will not only tell you how to behave on
a date and how you should be treated. They’ll also give
insight into being polite and classy even though the world is
sometimes tacky. They’ll share social faux pas and will
guide you in being well-rounded and refined.
And, don’t worry – Mr. Right will find you. The small
price of waiting for him will be well worth it! Never settle.
