In the month of November and December, we are focusing on AIDS Awareness. While most of us are immersed in the flurry of the holiday season--buying the perfect gifts, getting the perfect tree, hanging the perfect lights--we must not forget about the little ones being infected by HIV/AIDS across the country.

AIDS has killed more than 25 million people worldwide making it the most destructive epidemic in recorded history. In 2005 the AIDS epidemic claimed an estimated 3.1 million lives of which, more than 570,000 were children. Everyday more than 2,000 kids are infected with the HIV virus. AIDS is beyond a cause, it’s an emergency!
