Here are 5 easy ways to deal with potential wardrobe issues away from home.
Choose the appropriate fabrics – Washable cotton blends that don’t wrinkle work best. If you do get a stain, these fabrics usually require just a quick rinse with cold water and a stain wipe to remove it.
Pack lots of easy-to-wear clothing – Items that are pull-on and have drawstring are less likely to malfunction than zippers.
Plan your wardrobe around a coordinated theme – This simplifies dressing and makes it easier to trade out damaged clothing and still maintain a polished look.
Carry a “worn / damaged” clothing bag - It separates these items and easily marks them as a priority for care when you get home.
Create a Travel Clothing Repair Kit – We recommend--Fashion stick tape to temporarily fix gaping tops, hems, etc. ---Stain wipes to spot clean accidental stains---Lint brush to remove hair, dust, etc.
